During consciousness and intoxication, mysterious forces within and outside have danced to the intensity of my passion. The symphony of my determination to make them dance has never fallen weak nor faltered.

coming back

Its been a while since I last wrote a blog. I dont know why that is, call it being lazy or busy. Maybe a bit of both. Lately, Ive got term tests going on in college so things are a bit busy. Ive come down with fever today so I've found time to do some thinking and now, some writing.

Today, the principal of my college resigned. Its about time he did that, considering he had a 6 year tenure. Hes a nice guy I guess, my feelings about him leaving are mixed. He fixed a lot of problems that were going on before he had arrived, like gang violence and shit. Hard to believe that, considering this is a medical college we're talking about. But what can you do, in this country, everyone's after power...any sort of power.

Lately, with the term tests and all, Ive finally come to a few conclusions about my year so far; first of all, i am not studying nearly as much as I was last year. 2. the constant strain I have to put on my eyes by studying in candle light every time the power goes out is really starting to piss me off. The energy crisis here is getting really bad and as summer approaches, it seems theres no end to it. All I can do is look forward to going home in June where I wouldnt have to literally waste hours of my life every day. However, Im enjoying the new wave of attention thats coming my way from various ends. Its always satisfying ;)

Anyways, a rather funny but sad incident took place the other day. I was attending the ENT lecture early last Wednesday, when this jackass sitting next to me wouldnt stop asking me questions, because we had a term-test the next day I didnt get much sleep the night before and so I was basically just trying to see through the lecture and looking forward to getting some sleep. Anyways, it didnt take long for the Professor of ENT-2 to spot this guy talking to me, and he promptly ordered us to come down infront. One by one asking us a question each, but since he couldnt understand what I was saying, he told me to come on the stage and talk in the mic. Thats when I knew I was in for it. Not knowing the exact location of where tracheostomy is done is definately not a good thing, esp. after passing ENT ward test. After embarrassing myself on the mic, i slowly started walking back to the benches & thats when I heard the professor say "actually...you can just leave the class". And there it happened, something I never thought would happen to me, but it did. I always laughed at others getting the boot from the class but now it was my turn. I guess I really deserved it considering he kept looking at what i was wearing, a long white t-shirt & baggy jeans and if that wasnt enough...beach sandals. Not a good outfit for a soon-to-be doctor attending a professional institute? oh well, i was tired and didnt have time to get properly ready!

Has anyone seen the musical, Bombay Dreams? its being played here and people are saying its worth a watch, Im planning to go check it out on Wednesday. Lets see how that goes...

Next post will be more specific to a subject ive been wanting to discuss to keep your eyes open!
